One More Lens to View From

I wanted to wait until the weekend to write up this additional lens I'm looking at the world and the markets from, but it looks like it should be mentioned now due to what's showing up in tomorrow's chart.  I'll do my best to be as brief and simple as possible.

A number of systems of viewing the world from ancient times have a relatively short list of primary qualities to organize reality into.  The benefit of this is that it allows seeing a whole picture or system vs. the more familiar modern way of compartmentalizing into many specific and different categories, elements, sub-atomic particles, etc.  One thing I recently came across that seems to run through several paradigms is the idea of looking at the world or nature with three primary qualities (I use a system of four for MMI).  These three fundamental natural qualities tend to be divided into an active principle, a restrictive principle and one that is harmonious or balanced.  I'm using the same exact source data used for everything else as always and translating that into these three (in addition to the usual four).  This allows one more lens to view what's happening from.  It is not specifically market related and does not impact the MMI charts or current trading signals.  It's something I'm watching to see what it does.

The MMI charts are allowing for more upside to finish off the week.  Futures are currently up.  This new lens is adding the information that something might show up tomorrow to put a lid on the current exuberance.  We'll see.

Here is a daily version of the new chart:
