MoodMap: East Asia News and U.S. Illness
I did a geospatial analysis of U.S. mood for the coming week to see if it would shed any clues on Covid-19 development or any signs of optimism on the horizon. There was no focused area found within the U.S. of any particular mood. There were two things that did stand out however: 1) a generalized area somewhat more inclined to illness than others in the northern and western U.S. and 2) a great interest in factual information (i.e. news, data, etc.) in the general direction of East Asia (China, Japan, Korea).
