Long Term Trend Change Alert

In January, the Long Term Trend Indicator changed from buy to neutral after over a year of showing a long term bullish trend.  As anticipated, a few days later it changed again, reverting back to bullish (historically, it flip flops back and forth after a trend change signal before settling down).  Today's close once again turned the long term trend to neutral from bullish.  This is an opportunity to catch the next long term signal change whether back to bullish or to bearish.

The table below provides data from the Long Term Trend Indicator's signals since 18 July 2018.  It also compares a hypothetical trade using this indicator with the S&P 500's return during the same period.  Future results may vary.  Below the table are both the latest long term S&P 500 vs. MMI chart and LTTI.
