Amazing How All the Metal Heads Think This Time is Different

Amazing how all the metal heads think this time is different.  They come up with the same old reasons and believe this time is different.  Some of them even try to come up with some new reasons.  They are the creative ones.  But, they all have one thing in common . . . they are wrong.  This time is NOT different.

They forget that they all proffered soooo many reasons in 2011 as to why it was different then too.  And, they all believed their fundamental reasons while gold lost 45% and silver lost over 70%.  They then cried “manipulation.”

They simply do not understand that metals will have bull phase cycles, and, YES, they will ALSO have bear cycles. It is just part of the natural progression and regression we see throughout nature.

They are not driven by fundamentals.  Fundamentals were bullish for most of the 2011-2015 decline.  They only turned bearish as we approached the lows in 2015.  This is just how markets work.  Fundamentals – especially in metals – are very lagging indicators.

While they stay pain instructs, it seems that is not the case with metal heads.  They have already forgotten their pain from 2011-2015. So, let me make this clear:

THIS TIME IS NOT DIFFERENT.

I believe 2026 will likely mark a major top for metals and we will see another multi-year bear market.   And, yes, that will then set up another multi-year bull market.  Rinse and repeat.  This is how nature works.
